Brilliant.

"And this is why I mostly hate commercial fashion. I love true style, and I love personal fashion, but "fashion" as an industry is entirely constructed of the commodification of that fleeting feeling of meaningless superiority. It's status in a box, envy in a bottle, and it's kind of pathetic. It influences me some, like most people, and admit that I like nice clothes, but certain trends make the social bankruptcy of the industry really clear."
