Bugger off.

People who can't spell right. That's what bugs me lately. It appears to be total coolness to speak and know English, when you're not from a country where English actually is the official language. Teenagers have this idea that slipping a word or a sentence in English, in their conversation, may it be written or spoken is oh SO cool. And I can be fine with that. As long as you actually know what you're talking about and it's correct. But misspellings are so frequent and the answer to any correction made, is 'oh yeah I knew that'. Then why is it so hard to think a little before you actually do the mistake. I honestly can't get that and be ok with it. The moment you do something, may it be the simplest thing in the world, I think that you should make sure it's correct. But no. Life would be too nice for me that way. People must do things that annoy me. I've seen people who use lyrics from songs in whatever they do and just misspell them. I mean, come on, there are hundreds of sites with the lyrics properly written. How hard can it be to copy and paste. I just can't stand it. Hypocrites. Find something you like and do it at your best. Stop trying to seem cool or smart and pretend you know something you obviously have no business with. Or if you think that it is the only way to be accepted by the entire world and it is so important, just learn it properly. And this is not just for English, it's also French, German and whatever. Any language. Learn it well or don't use it until you're sure you know what you're doing. I was just focusing on English because it it the only foreign language I know well enough to be able to criticize. So, people, just learn. Learn, read in English and if you really can't pull it off, write everything in a Word document and spell check. It's really not that hard.

Hahaha, this is halirious but true. I've actually recently started typing everything in lower case, which is just as bad. Not because I'm 'cool', but becasue now I'm getting older everything seems like a real effort, lol.

Love this post! My mum always says 'theres nothing good about speaking bad'. I suppose the same goes for writing.

xx
